APPLY FOR DARK BARONS
Dark Barons follows a precise and strict application system in order to review our applicants and gather all the information we need. In the circumstance that you are accepted into Dark Barons, you will then complete a two week trial before settling into the club as a new Royal! In order to apply, there a few requirements you must meet.
THE APPLICATION SYSTEM
REQUIREMENTS
1. You must be 13+ years of age to join the club. This is because Dark Barons is a mature environment, and all members must be okay with mature language and topics. However, if you're 12 turning 13 within the year you apply, you will be able to join.
2. All members MUST have a discord account, and must be able to use it daily.
3. All members must have the full uniform upon joining, however we strongly encourage you NOT to buy the club horses until you have completed your two week trial of the club.
4. All members must be able to attend 2-3 practices per week. If you cannot meet the minimum, you must let a staff member know.
5. Dark Barons does not tolerate any sort of drama. Every member must show respect and kindness towards each other at all times.
STAGE ONE: Apply The first step towards your potential journey with Dark Barons is to submit a written application. The application will ask you for some details about yourself and your experiences/knowledge of SSO Dressage and Western Drill. It is extremely important to make sure that your application is as detailed as possible; write long answers in some areas.

STAGE TWO: Assessment Day (Tryouts) Once the open-app period is over, the club leaders and owner will go over and process applicants who show potential. If your application is accepted, you will receive a message from a member of staff with information regarding your Assessment Day. On this day, you will most likely be added to a group with multiple other applicants. You will be asked to perform a few dressage moves (we will instruct you) while a DB staff member takes notes and observes your skills. For this, you will join the applicant discord server where you can find all the information you need for your tryout and about the club.
STAGE THREE: Acceptance as a Trial Royal If the staff of DB view you as worthy and a good fit for our club, you will receive an acceptance letter! Upon joining the club, you will be on a 2 week trial. During your trial period, each member of the staff team will keep a close eye on your behaviour, attendance and progress. Once the two week period is up, you will either be welcomed as a full member of thae club (a Royal), have your trial terminated, or have your trial extended for another two weeks.
STAGE FOUR: Acceptance as a full Royal If you pass your trial, you will be welcomed as a full member of Dark Barons! From then on, you will be able to host club events, be potentially chosen for staff, and have your ideas and suggestions considered as well as many other things. If you are not accepted after your trial period is over, you are more than welcome to reapply in the future.
You may be wondering why we have this system in place. We use this application system so we can properly get to know the applicants before we accept them. We don’t want the wrong people joining our club, and we want to weed out the people who are not serious about our team.
